Platinum - Palladium prints from your original images!
The premier class of analogue fine printing techniques.
The light-sensitive solution is applied by hand with a brush onto high-quality watercolor paper (Arches Platine).
The coated paper is then exposed to UV light using the contact process. The exposed paper is then developed, clarified, watered and air dried.
The finest tonal gradations from deepest black through nuanced midtones to finely drawn highlights combined with the graceful feel of heavy artist papers give the term "fine print" the meaning it deserves.
The unsurpassed durability and value makes the hearts of collectors and gallery owners beat faster.
A rarity worldwide, we are pleased to be able to offer you a suitable laboratory service in cooperation with the fine printing expert Christian Klant.
Paper used: Hahnemühle Platinum Rag (other paper types available on request)
Brush strokes discreetly visible.
Discount for more than one deduction:
The 20% discount on follow-up prints applies to identical prints created immediately from a template within one order.
A notice:
It is a rather time-consuming manual process and the processing time required can vary depending on the order situation.
If you have time-critical work, please write us a message in advance to schedule an appointment.
image size
The prices quoted refer to the size of the image itself. The white paper border is then added and is at least 3cm all around.
(This is slightly different from classic silver gelatin photo paper prints, where the paper used usually determines the price category.)
Intermediate sizes are calculated like the next larger format.
Optional: Image border without brush strokes, with even edges: + 20% surcharge (please send us a message to info@editionargentum.de for a suitable offer or use our contact form.)
negative position
The stated price includes the creation of a printed negative in the required size from a digital template.
The required negative is created using a fine art printer on transparent printing film.
For this we need your image data as a Tiff or jpg with 300dpi, set to the print format. The easiest way to send it to us is via We-Transfer link for download.
