Classic analogue hand prints made in the darkroom on silver gelatin baryta paper with cardboard-thick paper support.
The first choice for particularly high-quality black and white prints with high archival stability and image quality.
Creating analog black and white prints in the darkroom is the great passion of our founder Marc Stache, which ultimately led to the start of Edition Argentum.
Your pictures are therefore developed exclusively by the boss himself, who is happy to use his many years of experience to achieve the best possible results.
Photo paper used
We work with silver gelatin baryta papers from Ilford (Ilford Multigrade Classic and Ilford Multigrade Warmtone). Other paper types from e.g. Foma or Bergger are also available on request.
prints from negatives
We enlarge black negatives in the film formats Minox film, 110 pocket film, 35mm, medium format 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, 6x8, 6x9, 6x12 up to sheet film 6x9cm, 9x12cm and 4x5inch.
prints of digital data
If you only have digital image data, it is possible to first expose it on black and white negative film.
Further processing in the darkroom is then carried out as with a conventional negative.
processing time
This can vary greatly depending on the order situation and quantity.
Please feel free to inquire in advance for time-critical orders.
